Windows 7 is in a boot loop and I can't launch startup repair

Yes on a Vista or Windows 7 .

If you only have 1 hard drive on the other computer your USB flash drive will be Disk 1

I've given you every possible step that can be done to start unbootable Win7 in Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start including the latest official isntaller to burn to DVD or write to flash stick so you dont' get bad installer error.

If as you said you want to skip to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 the installer is provided in Step 1.

Both tutorials show how to rescue your files if need be.

Did you burn your iso to the dvd at no more then 4x speed. Not sure if you even made a dvd, i`m just asking.

I`ve used a program called wintobootic to put the iso on the flash drive, it worked great, but something happened to the website, nothing shows up. I use poweriso, it works perfectly.

Greg recommends ultra iso.

Vista`s method should work fine too.

Don't get discouraged Vista King. Besides I just repped you for other good help you're giving.

There's just so many paths to take that it took years to collect and prioritize them so that the user has a map in hand. Please feel free to use them as often and widely as you want, even if you're only referring to certain steps:

Andrew, since you're downloading a new ISO because the other one is suspect you can use the MS Download Tool for either DVD or stick.

I'll have to come back to this tomorrow night. Thank you to everyone on this thread for hanging in and helping me so far! I didn't think I'd be able to get this far with my computer by myself, and that means a lot considering I'm not that experienced with fixing computers, and computers in general.

Yeah that's what i'm attempting maybe it'll work better.
