I can't get into windows and startup repair doesn't work

Hi, and thank you for your time.

Guess I'll start from the beginning. My laptop (Asus x401u windows 7 home premium 64bit) was abruptly disconnected from it's power source, and I haven't been able to get into windows since. Upon startup i'm sent to the windows error recovery screen with two options available: "Launch startup repair (recommended)" and "Start windows normally".

Upon selecting the first option windows attempts to load files ultimately resulting in a black screen with the cursor appearing several minutes later, requiring a hard shutdown (holding the power button).

Upon selecting the second option windows tries to start, but ultimately fails, ending with a quick flash of a blue error screen (pic related), then reboots, taking me back to the windows error recovery screen.

Now, after having no luck with those two methods, I went to the advanced boot options, which offers the following 12 selections:

1. repair your computer(which attempts to load files and ends in another black screen),

2. Safe mode (which attempts loading files but gets stuck at "\ Windows\ System32\ drivers\CLASSPNP.SYS", then reboots to windows error recovery screen,

3. Safe mode with networking (same result as safe mode),

4. Safe mode with command prompt (again, same result),

5. Enable boot logging (haven't tried it),

6. Enable low res video (640x480) (seems irrelevant),

7. Last known good configuration (advanced) (windows attempts to start, but again reboots to windows error recovery screen),

8. directory services restore mode (haven't tried this),

9. Debugging mode (I'm no developer, so haven't tried this either),

10. Disable auto restart on system failure (this is how I got the screenshot of the blue error screen),

11. Disable driver signature enforcement ( haven't tried this either),

12. Start windows normally.

Now, since I can't use the repair tools or safe mode, I tried to boot from usb (no disk drive) and even that didn't work.

Phew! Okay, since none of that worked, here I am. I'm at my wits end, and almost out of hope.

Any and all help and/ or advice will be greatly appreciated!!

What exactly do you mean by "abruptly" was the battery removed while powered on ?
Also your attachment is upside down could you please edit your question with an edited/ rotated image and re-upload it ?

Yes, my battery was disconnected.
Not sure how to change the picture
orientation but I'll try. I'm on my
android phone since my computer
Whacked out, so I'm unsure exactly
how to do things and responses might
Be a bit slow( small screen).

I can't use startup repair as selecting this leads to a black screen. Can't use safe mode as that loops back to windows error recovery. Sooo...

Do you have a installation disk ?
Do you have access to another 64 bit computer ?

As stated in the op, my laptop has no disk drive, and yes, i have access to another 64bit pc.

Yikes no disk drive okay well means you'll need flash drive install media :/
Wait for a expert before doing this,
But if you create install media to flash drive win-7 64 bit " a bit tough now Microsoft removed all win-7 iso downloads"

You might be able to create flash media for Linux to retrieve your personal files first !!!!

Then install Linux along side the existing win-7 Linux may fix the booting issues and allow booting to 7 again,

Ok, I have a flash drive with win7 64bit home premium iso.
I also have an external hard disk with a backup of all my stuff
that I made before the computer went crazy.
I even have another drive with windows recovery tool.
Now, as for the flash drive and iso, I've tried to boot from
it by setting the boot order to use the flash drive, but when I do it
gives an error message saying " Reboot and Select proper
Boot device or insert boot media in selected device and press a key".
Like I said, I feel like I've tried everything.

Sounds like the usb install media was not properly done
How exactly did you create the bootable flash media with the iso ?

Okay, I'm glad you asked because while looking for the thread I followed I found this one http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/321097-how-install-windows-7-uefi-mode-usb.html , which is different than the one I followed. Difference being "8+ gig drive".
Could that be the problem? The one I used is only 4gigs.

I'd make sure secure boot is disabled too.

For windows 7? The one you posted was for win8. Also, I can't find an option for secure boot, I see
UEFI Boot and boot priorities but no secure boot...
