Windows 7 is in chinese

I am trying to fix my friends laptop. It is from China, so when it was restored after it went wrong everything is in chinese. I have tryed going through the menues comparing them with other windows 7 computers, but have not been able to fix it. Does any one know of an easy way to change the language, maybe software to do it for you?

If it is Ultimate, you could try the language pack. If it is a Home edition, a reinstall may give you the English option - maybe. If neither one works, your friend will have to learn Chinese.
