windows 7 is not responding

Hi there
I think i got virus after an opening a file in zip path. After that the all icons that related to
Softwares are not responding to run as before also i have noticed that the icons on the taskbar
that is beside the oclock are gobe.also when i make order to shutdown is not responding so i
should turn it off from the power button. Mozile firefox doesnot respond and bot opening.
Please anyone can help me i dont want to format my drive.
I made rescan by antivirus but found nothing.
Im waiting ur responces guys.

I forgot to remember that the pc working ok i can open all the drivers and browse it but
cant run anything

Work through the http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/220165-troubleshooting-steps-windows-7-a.html starting with scan for infection, establishing a Clean Boot, run SFC and proceed through until you find the problem.

If you can't run any steps move to the boot mode where all the same steps are provided as bootable disks in http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219533-troubleshooting-windows-7-failure-boot.html.
