Windows 7 is robbing me of my youth and goodwill :(

I'm new to Windows 7 and so far have found it an abolutely frustrating experience. Quite simply, it's robbing me of my youth and goodwill.

WHEN FINALLY...finally after getting my system to work correctly, I leave my computer on overnight and viola, I return the next morning to find my computer has automatically rebooted and my monitor cannot be detected.

I had to system restore to remove an update and get my settings back.

THIS IS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS.

I'm wondering who I can submit an invoice to for all the billable work hours I've spent on absolute B.S.

You can change your Windows Update settings to be like below to not have them be installed automatically.

Hi! dann6, welcome to 7F

I have found Hibernate to cause problems.

• If you go to Power Options #1.

• Then #2 Change Advance Settings.

• Scroll down a bit, you will see +Sleep.

• Click on the + sign, and you can modify the sleep settings.
