I formatted my HDD and reinstalled Windows 7 as usual to install my brand new SSD HDD and usual I came here to get the registry keys I usually install to disable features I don't need. I install the following registry files that I got from your forum:

Disable CD DVD Burning Features
Disable Reserved
Remove Include in library from Context Menu
Remove Pin to Start Menu
Remove Pin to Taskbar
Remove Previous Versions Context Menu
Remove Previous Versions Properties Tab
Remove Run as administrator
Remove Share with to Context Menu
Remove Sharing
Remove Troubleshoot Compatibility
Restore Exe Association

Unfortunately even if they work after running them, when I restart it's like I have never ran them. The registry keys get restored and I can't understand why if I'm doing it (apparently) right.

Any idea about what could be the issue?

No, I didn't think so but I checked again and it's not. If that would be the case I think anyway my desktop files wouldn't be keeped and they are actually keeped. Weird...

Odd. You might create a new account to test to see if it does the same in it as well.
