Windows 7 Lag

Hi,My windows 7 ,is laging like hell? why? I clean it for viruses,defragment HDD and other things,but why is running slow?
This thing suddenly happened.

have a look at task manager and see what processess are running
also check what programs are running at start up?? if any

What have you done in the last day or two when it started happening? How old is the Hard Drive? PCU age? It could be a number of thing Malware comes to mind actually first. Try a scan with Hit man Pro free....Or Norton Power Eraser. and see what could be hiding not just one virus scanner can detect everything....

Nothing is eating my resources.

Test your Hardrive with manufactures testing tools then or you psu could be going bad not supplying enough power to run thing up to specs anymore.
