so this issue started about 3-4 days ago, everytime i start windows it starts fine until it gets to my desktop screen, everything works fine for about 5 mins and then everything locks my keyboard/mouse cant go to the task manager or anything.

the issue started after it went to sleep mode and then i shut it off, i removed all my graphics card drivers and programs i added and i still get the same problem, even when i get to the recory system when it says "please wait while windows is recovering/restoring" not sure what it says exactly it will lock up and i have to restart it.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

computer specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 3.2GHz OC'd
Asus P5Q-E Motherboard
8GB DDR2 500MHz Memory PC2-6400
300GB Sata Hard Drive
750watt Thermaltake Power Supply
Windows 7 64 bit
