Windows 7 - Mini Fireworks??

Anybody seen this or is the Christmas Cheer bubbling up his nose?


"Update: even with a critical post, I have just discovered something aesthetically brilliant. Holding the shift key as you click on a taskbar icon opens up a new window, but does it in a mini firework show of vibrant colour. I have yet to discover though what this feature is called, or what it is meant to actually do.

Very cool! I had just been rightclicking and opening a new window. This is much easier and not to mention, prettier.

in addition to the right click, a left click and drag up brings up the context menu

I think there are probably a few more undiscovered "gems" in the Windows 7 UI

The team who put the taskbar together certainly did a great job, of ease of use features, which will be even greater as more taskbar aware applications become available

Update

Middle clicking, (the wheel), on an open application's taskbar button, also opens a new window
Ctrl Left Click - Switches open windows for application.
Alt - Left click - Brings up thumbnails in "stickie" mode

I don't think that is true, middle clicking on mine brings up flip 3D and I never changed my mouse button settings.

It's different for me too. Middle click opens the app. - same as left click . Alt+left click does the same as left click. Alt and right click does bring up the sticky thumbnail.

Nah, I use hte Search button as my middle button, and have it to *not* do Flip 3D - I use hte thumb wheel for Flip 3D - BTW I have an MX Revolution, and use RLowe's UberOptions.

Well that's your opinion, it doesn't seem to special to me aside from the charging doc, which is nice.



I prefer this one, which I also beleive is the most ideal perfect windows 7 mouse that exists in all of the universe IMO.
