Hello all,

sorry to raise a common problem again. But im stuck in this for past one week.

I had windows 7 before and thought of reinstalling it as it got the Blue Screen Crash dump problem often.

When i tried to install the Windows 7, i deleted the Hard disk as i wanted to change the partition of the drivers. but the windows 7 is not detecting the hard disk since i delete it. In normal case it will detect the Hard Disk as raw and allow us to format it.

Does this problem has any connection with my 64bit config?

how can Windows 7 detect my hard dishk again?

Even i try to find proper SATA Driver for my Packard Bell 64 Bit, Easy note MB65 laptop, but nothing came good.

please help me from this shit pit...

MSS

Hello,

Thanks for the relply, I will tell what exactly I did.

1. I used Win 7 ultimate bootable CD and it was showing all my harddisk partitions
2. I wanted to re-partition my hardisk, so I deleted all the partitions (Big mistake I made)
3. After deleting the partitions, Windows 7 was not able to recognise my raw harddisk
4. I re-booted my laptop with Windows 7 bootable cd and still it was not able to detect my SATA1 harddsik.
5. I tried downloading all the possible drivers (AHCI SATA drivers) but it was showing errors like <Unable to load drivers> driver file is not signed etc...

Somehow, I was not able to make Win 7 recognise my harddisk.

But BIOS recognises my harddisk as 320GB SATA1

My lapltop is Packard bell Easy note MB65. PB series.

I tried looking in the Packard bell website, they do not have the drivers for this laptop (Even though I selected "show all the models" options)

I also tried to look for any general drivers for all laptops. But was unsuccesful.

So, please guide me to resolve this issue. (I have spent almost a week )

ok so you are able to log into windows?
iif so then open up disk management and are there any of your HD that show up with a black bar instead of a blue one?
