Okay so today I've decided to pull out an old PC and throw Windows 7 on it. All is well until I realized I cannot get any drivers for the PC because the manufacture(Gigabyte) doesn't have drivers that support Windows 7. Is there any solution to this? All I really need is the LAN Driver.

Motherboard: ga-8s661fxm-775
Drivers Page: GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 775 - GA-8S661FXM-775 (rev. 2.0)
Chipset: SiS661FX Rev 11

Again is there any way to get Windows 7 Drivers for this motherboard?

Thanks in advanced. I will provide anymore information if needed.

Welcome Austinayers1337 :)

If you have an empty PCI slot, buy an inexpensive 10/100 ethernet add in card. Install that with the correct drivers for it and see if you can get on the internet that way. Also have you tried any Vista drivers to see if they will work ?

Thank you for the reply! I thought about doing that. However, I am looking for any way to avoid that at this time. I was wondering if anyone is good at editing .inf files. Maybe make it to where the XP Lan Drivers could be compatible for Windows 7?

It is highly doubtful that anything done in an inf file would make an XP driver compatible with Windows 7.
