Hi everyone. i think no need of disappointment. As win 7 is not yet relieased officially. Thats why everyone rushed through ACM to get it. After 22 oct as it will become common in market and most of people may get it from stores, than no more rush of people toward this. So i think they may re issue links to download it. My sugg is wait for some time with patience.

Are/were the keys inside the .iso file or where they a separate download?

Go to your MSDNAA login, then Go to My Software, you will see the Download Link, click it and you'll get the Serial.
The ISO is independant. Just burn it to a DVD. Thats it.

How do you know if 1 key is all someone needs :sarc:

A LOT of us have more than 1 computer for ourselves, A LOT of us change motherboards often and A LOT of us will install Windows 7 on family members computers.

And here in lies a massive part of the whole problem. Programs like this do NOT allow you to use this software, obtained through this program, to "install Windows 7 on family members computers". Think again about why this removal happened in the first place. It was because the program was being abused.

I mean seriously, I work in a shop where we have volume license copies of the software and MAK keys (multiple activation keys). But that does not in any way shape or form give me the right to install it on 1 of my own personal computers at my house let alone a family members computer. You gotta pay attention to the rules and do things as they are intended or it's taken away.

Yeah, but I'm still a student, hence I'm going to take as much advantage of the $19 that I paid as possible, that's just the way people work buddy, get over it.

Oh and in case you're too F-ing unobservant to read properly, you might have noticed I never mentioned using ACM keys for those purposes, I said I will install Windows 7... tards. I have only used 1 key so far, 1 will go on my Eeepc (my library laptop) and the rest are waiting for hardware changes.. I am a computer enthusiast after all.

Point: Read and don't jump to f-ing conclusions, then question my morals and judgement.

As I understand this it is a US only offer - A UK student offer commences on September 30th. If you check the News forum here I think there is a thread giving full information

Your school may or may not be an ACM or MSDNAA member. Either website will have links to determine this. In this thread, I have posted links which may be of some value in making this determination.

Another option is 741

A much easier test to pass. But you get Home Premium for $30 US. Available in the UK.

Thanks for you replies guys! I have emailed my university to ask if I can get Win 7 actually for free through MSDN AA (as my University is listed). However, my log in details are not working (I'm a Business student). If this does work, it would be sweet! But if not, £30 is a very very decent price.

One more question though. With "Available in the UK." are you referring to the $30 deal from the US (that's £18.36) or the £30 deal for students here in the UK?
