Using Zonelabs with Windows 7 Pro 64bit on Aspire AX3900 with i7 and 6GB ram. Have had some blue screens of death. Is there a conflict with Zonelabs or with CCCleaner? Is Windows Security Essentials a better option than a commercial antivirus/malware/firewall program? many thanks in advance for your responses.

Hi, dandelionaries. Welcome to Seven Forums.

If you wish to confirm that the BSODs are caused by ZoneAlarm, follow the instructions here Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions and wait for analysis.

That said, I have indeed heard that there can be BSOD issues with ZA.

Although you will find many opinions on the best security solutions, I have not had any problems with Microsoft Security Essentials and the Windows 7 Firewall on Windows 7, 64-bit.
