Solved Windows 7 PRO SP1 - some updates will not install

Starting yesterday I noticed some updates were not installing. Error code was 800B0100. Today the same updates were ready, plus one extra Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3021917). I ran the updater and the KB3021917 installed and these did not: Cumulative Security Update for IE 11 for Windows 7 for x64 based systems (KB3021975), Security Update (KB3004375), Security Update (KB3023562), and Security Update (KB3031432).
I have tried all the suggested tools and checked all the settings all to no avail. I will try whatever you suggest to solve this problem. I have a sore spot on my scalp from scratching it.

I have run Mr FIXIT and virus programs and cccleaner and malwarebytes and everything else that was suggested.

I tried Hotfix for Windows (KB947821), no help, ran Windows repair tool, did not help, and ran windows update - reset and it did not reset the update function.

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

Please also post the C:\Windows\windowsudpate.log file

I've uploaded a file - wddaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder wddaa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folders inside it (Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

The problem is solved! I discovered there is an update for the Microsoft Update Standalone Package to the latest version and once installed I ran the standalone package again and the microsoft updates installed. I found the solution here: How to update the Windows Update Agent to the latest version

Please run the CheckSUR tool again and post the new log file - the errors showing are NOT related to the Windows Update Agent.
