Do you use a second monitor?

If not your computer thinks that you are. Reset to one monitor.

You can try this. In an administrator account type cmd in search. In cmd type this sfc /scannow. This will fix small problems.

To turn off sleep mode Go to Start>Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Power Options. Then on the left side of the Window click "Change When the Computer Sleeps" and click the dropdown menu for Put the computer to sleep: and select never. Click Save Changes and that's it.
