Windows 7 Rebooting after Disk.sys

I recently bought a new computer that i built myself, i got myself Windows 7 ultimate (64bit). It all goes well untill i start up the computer when it just reboots during the "Starting windows" screen, after the reboot i try failsafe when it freezes at Disk.sys for a few min then rebooting again. It just repeats untill i turn it off, whitch is abit anoying.

I've tried updating the drivers with no luck, if anyone has any idea what the problem is i'll be a much happier person .

Usually the displayed name is the last driver which managed to load without a problem. Since it's happening in both normal and safe modes, if I understand correctly, it's time for a repair install.

Done several repairs and it doesnt find any errors, i've also tried reinstalling it again with no luck

Make sure that you are formatting your drive before installation...

Have you tried disconnecting everything that is not essential to installing windows... one stick of ram ... one hard drive??

Only have 1 hard drive installed, and 1 2gb ram in the A-1 slot.

Its beginning to sound like a bad install disk... re download your ISO and burn it at the slowest possible speed and then re-install...

Redownloaded it and burned it at x8 speed and still the same result. I havn't found anyone else with the same problem whitch is very anoying :huh:

What is the source of the ISO file?? Is it from MSDN?

The problem was that the zalman PSU was failing somehow, found it on the forums for my motherboard that a person had the same problem. When i switched to a Corsair 750w instead of Zalman it started perfectly with no problems

Did you ever solve this problem? I have the same issue, freezing on disk.sys
