Windows 7 says its not Genuine.

Hello Every one, so i am sitting here playing Borderland 2, and my Desktop Changes to ALL BLACK, saying my Windows 7 is not GENUINE. WTH.
My Windows 7 has been Genuine since 2009, i recently did an upgrade and was able to Activate my Copy of Windows 7, I even have the Original activation Key,

I have tried Verifying my Windows 7 Via on line, NO GO, i even downloaded the windows activation update, NO GO, i even tried using the original windows 7 Key, NO GO.

I believe something got corrupted? . how do i get my copy of Windows 7 to be Genuine again?

You have a Blocked Key.
This is unusual, because it's not the normal CID for such Keys.
Here's my normal post for this situation....

The Key in use is an MSDN Key from a not-for-resale MSDN account.
Unless you are an MSDN subscriber, you are not entitled to use the Key – and whoever sold it to you was not entitled to do so.
You need to claim an immediate refund from the vendor - do NOT accept the offer of a new key (all they are trying to do is to get past the 45-day claims window or avoid you sending the evidence of their crimes to the authorities)

Where did you acquire this license? - it may be worth phoning MS to see what they have to say about it, and why it's been blocked.

i then ran the SLMGR.VBS / DLV command and my Windows 7 went back to being GENUINE.

I still have my HDD as a 2nd DATA drive in my System. is there a possible OS conflict between the SSD and the HDD ?

Amazingly, it looks fine to me.

I've never before seen a Key tagged as blocked, which has later been evaluated as genuine. Obviously there was some software corruption in an unusual place, and whatever you did cleared that.

The error in the first report

Cached Online Validation Code: 0xc004c4a2

defines the Key as having been blocked

The

Notification Reason: 0xC004F200 (non-genuine).

says that when checked against the MS servers, the Key was found to be non-genuine (usually because of being listed as blocked for validation).

Keys can be blocked for activation and/or validation.
OEM_SLP Keys are blocked for Activation, but not validation (as are KMS Volume License Keys)

The common MSDN counterfeits I referred to above are blocked for both activation and validation.

Offhand I can't think of anything that would cause a Key to be valid for activation, but not validation.
