Solved Windows 7 settings

Hi,

Please can you help me with the following question

In windows 7 , when you go to select one file, right click you have the option to 'open with...'


However, when you select multiply files and right click, there is no 'open with....'

How can I enable open with... on multiply files?( All the same extension type.

Do I understand correctly that you want to open several files at once? Then take a look at this tutorial.

Or are you interested in editing the default file associations?

What I would like is to open multiply files( e.g all excel) and having the option to be able to choose what I what to open them with.

You can get additional Context Menu (right-click menu) options with one file when you click the Shift key at the same time as right-clicking on the highlighted file, and one of the additional options is usually Open With. I don't know if that will work with two or more files at a time, but it's worth a try.

Hello Chris,

Sorry, but "Open with" is only available when you right click on one file, and is not available when you select multiple files and right click on them. Even if they are all the same file extension.
