Windows 7 Shutdown

Can anyone help.
My Windows 7 suddenly shuts down. The screen goes blank but the power button is still on.
I seriously doubt if it is a promlem with the actual computer as I run two SATA hard drives - one with Windows and the other running Zorin 7 (Linux). When in the Linux OS it works perfectly, the only time the problem happens is when I am in Windows and particularly playing a Game (Black Ops etc.).
My thoughts are that it is one of three things, corrupt OS, corrupt hard drive or faulty graphics card.

You could try running a sfc/scannow to check for and possibly repair any corrupted system files. We have many excellent tutorials here at the forums written by some very knowledgeable people. Problem fixed

Thanks for your help, I tried this and other programs to check the system.
I suspected that it was the graphics card and when I went to check it, I found that somehow, the Sata cable from one of the hard drives, was touching the fan and stopping it from operating.
I have done a quick test, playing a game and it seems to be okay. I am lucky it did not cause a complete failure of the card
