Solved Windows 7 Slowdown

MSE does not run offline.

Your main problem is caused by AVAST not playing correctly with Win 7 which includes Window Defender.

Very likely, but it wasn't always like that; possibly a new version of Avast! caused the problem.

Anyway, WD is now inactive, so the problem is solved.
