Windows 7 SP1 Integrated ISO's leaked

Ive just done a clean install using a slipstreamed ISO and was still offered the following updates after install.


Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (KB973924)
Security Update for CAPICOM (KB931906)
Update for Microsoft Silverlight (KB2477244)
Microsoft Silverlight (KB2416427)
Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (KB973924)
Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB973923)

Also was not offered windows live essentials nor MSE as optional downloads.
Is this normal

I manually installed the latest DirectX, Dot Net 4, Silverlight, Microsoft Security Essentials and IE9 Beta before I went to Microsoft updates. The Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (KB973924) is there now along with all the other office 2003 updates. I turn windows updates off while I install the updates I listed above. I usually install Microsoft Security Essentials last because it automatically turns windows update back on. Aside from a definition update for MSE it said I was up to date. I ran it twice just to make sure. There may be variables depending on what you have installed and maybe even which version of windows you have installed. I've probably got 30+ updates listed in my updates history now.

I can't find them and I need to make a clean install on my system. I don't want to risk downloading something without a proper SHA1 reference.

Hi,
If someone has a Retail activation key yes
Most do not and have only OEM/ Manufacture key from Acer/ Dell/.... and those do not work.

The app posted does get the iso's from Microsoft via a website workaround

Plus not all retail keys work on the MS recovery site. I own a few different retail versions of 7, all genuine store bought and it doesn't recognise all the keys I have. I've seen a few users have issues trying to enter keys.

Much easier to download the tool as it doesn't require you to enter a key that possibly won't work anyway.

Not sure why MS doesn't allow 7 users to download the ISO's without having to enter the key, the same as it is for 8.1 and 10.

MS only accepts true RETAIL and Enterprise keys for downloads now.

OEM keys work fine, I got my ISO that way from the sticker on my computer

Apart from the different .Net Framework versions what else is different about the Windows ISO Downloader.exe and the Windows ISO Downloader Legacy.exe?
I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't know this but I'll try and have a stab at an educated guess, is one for a UEFI BIOS system and the other one is for a normal BIOS system?.

I'm pretty sure bios or how 7 is installed has nothing to do with it
Net framework is a mystery but it nothing to do with legacy or uefi

Not much difference except for bug fixes, and the new versions require .NET Framework 4.6.1 installed. Old version only requires .NET 3.5
