Solved Windows 7 Stability with Antivirus

I have been dealing with a lot of crashes since I built my machine. A lot of times it is suggested to remove the antivirus. Several people have recommended that I use ms security essentials instead. All antivirus software pass through the quality assurance tests which ensures their functionality. Any program can cause problems if not installed/configured properly or if issues lie in the user's Operating System. Its not the antivirus developer fault if the user doesn't properly maintain his system, various conflicts between user programs and antivirus software can cause problems

Always use the latest version of any antivirus, using old versions can cause problematic situations on your system

Each PC has a different software configuration

good info, thanks. Right now, I only have the OS on my machine. I am going to install Avast and run it for a week like that.
