So I was disabling unnecessary services on my netbook Windows 7 Starter 32 bit computer, following BlackViper's configuration. After disabling all the unnecessary services I have been unable to connect to my internet via Wifi. After experimenting I found that the WLAN AutoConfig service is the one responsible, and I cannot get it to start again. I get the following message:

"Windows could not start the WLAN AutoConfig service on Local Computer.
Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start."

If I understand correctly, I need to enable one of the other services that this one depends on to run. The problem is I cannot identify which service this one needs to start back up.

I tried re-enabling them all, and I was able to connect again. But I do not want them all running, only the bare necessary since this is an old and slow computer.

If anyone knows which service(s) WLAN AutoConfig depends on to run please let me know, or another fix. :)

Nevermind, for future reference heres how I solved the problem:

Go to Properties in the service, you can see the Dependencies. Simply turn those services back on and I was able to get it working.
