Windows 7 Student Discount Backup DVD

I have a question for those who ordered and have received the backup DVD from

digitalriver. I preordered the dvd on oct 22nd and the dvd still hasn't arrived yet.

So I contacted them and they finally decides to reship the dvd to me which means

that my first shipment went missing arrr....

The question is that does the backup dvd come with product key in the package?

I am worried that if the product key is written in the package, and if someone got

my backup DVD, the person will be able to use my cd key.

When you report that your DVD did not arrive, the key number will be cancelled. So if someone tries to use it either immediately or within 90 days, it will not be able to be used. So, do not worry. Just install the best OS, to date, when the DVD arrives and enjoy windows 7.

When they sent me an email saying that the dvd will be reshipped, they did not

provide new a cd key... but they gave me the same old cd key.

My guess is that the product key is not written in the package....

Dont worry, when you receive your DVD, if it does not work due to an invalid key. Just call MS, explain the situation they will issue you a new number and cacel the old number. You do not have a problem.

MS has experience every sort of problem and they will protect themselves, while trying to keep the customer happy. Its just like a cell phone, if you find one just try to use it, you will be contacted by the company or even the law.

I just opened my DVD that arrived yesterday and there was no key sticker on the insidemof the DVD envelope.

So your key is still good, don't worry.

Now pop in the DVD and boot it to do the cleanest possible install: Custom with Advanced drive tools to format before install.
