Hi,

About 2 weeks ago my Win7 taskbar started to freeze randomly and sometimes many times in a row. I can't click on any taskbar icons or start menu, also I can't close the window currently open, but windows itself works.(ex. i have Firefox open and then comes the freeze, but i can still scroll the page up and down and click on the links, but i can't close/minimize etc.) Only way to unfreeze is press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and open Task Manager and then Close it. I have looked for solution in the internet and. I found that causes of this may be wireless mouse(i don't have wireless mouse), file at C:\Program Files (x86)\RelevantKnowledge\rlvknlg.exe and for someone deleting it in Safe Mode has solved the problem, but I don't have such file. I discovered that it freezes even in Safe Mode. I already reinstalled windows and still have freezes. I tried to reinstall graphic drivers but this too didn't help.

I have tried and couldn't figure it out myself so I hope that some one else can help me.

Thank you in advance.

Hi there,

I have been sitting on this problem for around 2 weeks now. For me it seems like logitech setpoint was causing the problem - i uninstalled it and everything`s back to normal now, FINALLY!

Finally I have found a description of my problem. The task bar or open windows are still functional, but cannot close unless I use TaskManager or Keyboard Commands (Alt-F4, etc.). Thanks for the tips given. I will try them and check back on what I find out.
