Windows 7 Ultimatex64 Laptop - Screen display has gone PORTRAIT. HELP!

This is a c.2009 Toshiba Satellite A300-02W, dual core. It was given to me in 9/17. The machine may have come with the Gadgets option, or a later upgrade/update enabled same, cos I think I've seen hints of it here and there--but I've never used it. This has never happened before. What setting is responsible for laptop screen orientation? I have to prop the laptop sideways using linens & occasional tables, & use remote keyboard & mouse. In effect the laptop looks & acts like a giant, awkward CELLPHONE. argggh. I've minimized to the point of no return. I can only read the CENTER of any online content; must scroll back and forth to read complete lines; AU SECOURS!

Wow, a Senior Member and a Samuria! Honoured. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. In the event, I made my way to Display Settings but it wasn't enough to change the orientation. Having retraced my steps I'll lay them out here, in case anyone else, including beginners, encounter this, cos I don't know how the graphics card rotation got toggled - I never touch it.
I still have one question, if you have a sec - see below.

In Windows 7, R-clicked on Desktop screen & clicked Personalization

Clicked Change Display Settings
? > It showed my screen as "1. Mobile PC Display"
& below that, "Portrait."
I don't understand and wasn't ever able to change the 1st; there was no other option.
Q: Is that normal nomenclature for a laptop?
I changed the 2nd to LANDSCAPE: but that didn't suffice to correct the screen.
Clicked Advanced Settings
Panel appeared: <Generic PnP Monitor & Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipeset Family PRoperties>
Clicked the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile TAB
Clicked Graphics Properties [& waited for it]. Finally noticed its minimal presence in traybar--?. Brought it up.
Clicked Rotation TAB: It was set to <Rotate to 90 degrees> (& illustrated)
I clicked on <Rotate to Normal> - also illustrated, as the normal & default screen.
Clicked OK, & clicked OK backing out of every box thereafter.
Cheers

And THANK YOU AGAIN , SAMURIA, for taking time so quickly to advise me. How different from wandering desolately through Microsoft pages w/the other ghosts.
