Good Morning Roy ,

Managed to download and install the new windows o/s .... it was a bit hit and miss , but got it in the end ... I did note it did a lot of repair to "net famework 4. 5 ? , but anyway it seemed to do it after about 15 minutes ... I have now booted up this morning , and its asking me to enter the licence key , however when I enter the key as shown on Belarc it saying its not valid ? any ideas ? regards

Yes , that is correct. ....I have experienced this once before ... upgrading from 8.1 to 10 once , everything worked perfectly fine on 8.1 , but would not transfer the licence to 10 ? spoke to M/soft about this , and they said its because you have installed it on more than one PC ? I explained what I had done , but they still wouldn't help , so had to get another key ... Luckily my friend had a spare one on a pc casing that he was stripping for parts , so I was lucky .

Roy , what I will do is to get another key from microsoft, and see if we can finish this issue to completion . Also I see there is a lot of old vista files everywhere ... is there anyway all these old files can be cleaned off using a piece of software that you are aware ? regards Quo . Vista files should NOT be on your comp if you performed a clean install..
Its not even showing the previous existance of Vista!!

perform a clean install, DO NOT enter your product key at this stage, or your Office installation, wait about a week then enter it.
