Ok I been searching around even removed the update files that are downloaded thinking ok maybe its a corrupt file issue which I have had once before and that resolved the issue by doing that and did that twice (with a reboot after each time) and my updates still fail, the code I get is the following, 80070002, no matter what I do (including the microsoft update fixit tool) nothing seems to help, im getting to wits end with it, and I really don't want to contact MS or reinstall windows its self to fix this error....so anyone have any further ideas?
if it helps I also tried whats at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...error-80070002 as well as removing the files from the downloads folder to no avail , I am starting to wonder if this is becoming a hopeless battle!!!
Im in the process of doing whats listed in System Update Readiness Tool fixes Windows Update errors in Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windows Server 2008 and downloading some updater I believe its the fix it tool by MS, which still isn't resolving the issues (it says it does but it hasn't), I am going to reread that main thread on how to do things located here just to be sure I havent missed any thing, anyways here the CBS logs that I pulled as well, not sure if they will help but figured they might help some how...
Anyways, thanks for the help your guys and gals provide
