I've just installed Win7 64-bit on a new computer, and have checked for new updates several times, plus "New updates available" has popped up on its own several times.
Each time it's about 140 updates . . . 140 a few times ago, then 139, then 138, then 140, then 140 again, etc.
Is it possible that the Update engine has gone haywire and is replicating? Or is there a limit to the number of updates that can be done at once, and these are all indeed new updates?
