I have installed all the drivers on my new PC build. Last night the PC downloaded some updates and when I pressed shut down it started installing 53 updates.

It has not stopped and seems to be stuck on the 49th update. The PC has now been on for about 13 hours on this screen and still hasn't shut down. It's been on 49 in particular for about 2-3 hours. Is this normal for Windows 7?

Updates take a long time, but not that long.

The problem is restarting while it`s updating, you`re never supposed to do that, but it looks like you`re gonna have to.

It's that damn USB being stuck you need to either Buy a windows 10 disc or use Legacy USB in the bios that is the workaround other than this you'll be stuck till christmas the support for usb dies as soon as you try to load 7 hence it being stuck
