Hello,

I am having a rather frustrating issue with Windows 7 on my desktop. The system will not allow me to log in. I type in my password, it thinks, then takes me back to the log in page. I have checked the caps lock, numbers lock and know that I am typing in the correct password. I have tried booting the system from the disk and the same thing occurs. I simply cannot get into my computer. I would appreciate any help that anyone might provide.

Thank you,

It must give you some sort of error when you try to login before redirecting you back to the logon screen. If you supply me with an error message I will be able to help.

Hello Greg,

There is no error message given and actually, since I posted my issue, I have worked out that it may be (probably is) a problem with the hard drive. Once I solve the computer issue, I will see if Windows 7 is functioning properly.

Thank you for the offer of help!
