I had 3 partitions -- XP(1), W7(2), and a Userdata partition(3).
I decided to delete the XP partition and give 30GB to the W7 partition which was low on storage.
I used GPARTED to 1st delete the XP partition, and the did a MOVE/RESIZE of the W7 partition. All looked to complete successfully, and I now have 2 partitions ( W7 and Userdata )
But upon reboot I get :
PXE-E61 - Media and test failure -- and the system will not reboot to W7.
I have tried repairing with W7 System repair and boot disks to fix the startup w/o success.
I believe it is because the the Bootmanager is not recognizing the W7 partition as bootable or a valid OS --- I tried using the DOS prompt to rebuild the BCD also w/o success.
Any and suggestions welcome
