Reformatted. windows has failed to re-activate. they say i got 27 days. i feel cheated.

what to do?

what went wrong? maybe this........??

We have 2 PCs. I first installed her Win7 on my PC. Realize error. Re-formatted. Installed my Win7 on my PC.

Have I doomed our Win7s'??

the error code indicates 'The activation server determined that the license is invalid.' - this can mean either that you've entered the Product Key wrong (most likely), or that there is another problem with the license.
First, check the code entered is correct: either C/G/6 or B/8 or Y/V are the most common errors, an O/0 is almost always a Q

If that's correct, attempt Operator Activation.

in the Search box, type
SLUI 4
and hit the Enter key
follow the instructions, but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you

Side-note........... my Windows Experience rating is 1.0 (as in junk - used to be 5.3) what sub-forum do I ask about this?

Please post a new MGADiag report - that'll confirm whether or not the system is now activated.

Have you tried updating your Experience Index? - What does it show in the detailed screen? Are there any errors showing in Device Manager?
