Windows 7 x64 TV Tuner

I'm looking for a simple TV tuner that's compatible with windows 7 64-bit.

My requirement are that it needs to be PCIE, has a "tivo" function, and has a composite video input. (for use with gaming consoles) I will be plugging in basic from-the-wall cable into it.

I'm wondering if anyone's found a good one like this, for a decent price.

which amazon users said worked fine with win 7 32-bit and 64-bit. Plus, Its got an s-video to composite adapter, and its pcie. It's also a fairly good price. $60 after everything. Thanks for the help, I'll look thru your thread a bit as well

this is the board i have been using with win 7 x32. when i did have 7 x64 i had no problem with this.

Thanks,I've seen that one, and it would be perfect, except its kinda pricey compared to others I've been looking at. I've ruled out Hauppauge as a brand already

Also, has anybody tried hooking things like ps2, n64, gamecubes, and wii's to thier moniter via these tv tuners? Do they work well?

Haven't tried it directly through any tuners yet. I have my "other" devices running directly into the monitor's extra inputs.

Manufacturer - Model - 32bit or 64bit OS - A &/or D (Analog &/or Digital)- Connection type (USB/PCI-E/PCI)
also, if the card works on Windows 7 with third party software, please include the program name and version if possible.

Just the basic info, and anything else about your experiences with that card that may help other would be great

as i all ready said i had it running in x64 win 7 using beyondtv without any problems. it is easy to update the drivers. one click on the driver file and it does the rest. honestly i would not use any other card than hauppauge. i am currently thinking about their 2250. this all the info i have. hope it helps.

I'm actually planning on getting some OEM model, because I found out, since I'll mainly be using this for Consoles to ditch my fatty TUBE TV, I can't have anything Permanent DVR functions, almost anything with a pause is a no-no for me, as with a channel buffer, there will be a 1-4 second lag on any console, which is not acceptable when gaming

Something like this HDMI Switch may be of use to you. That way you could still get a tuner card and do away with the old CRT
