I've been running Win 7 Pro x64 on my desktop since the beginning of September. We are now running Win 7 on 5 computers in the house, the last was a laptop ordered on October 22 with 7 Pro preinstalled. 3 of the others were upgrades from XP, and 1 was a upgrade Vista. We are very happy. Yes, the OS fades into the background, but familiarity does not build contempt. Instead it builds comfort, like a cozy pair of slippers. It just works.

I've been pushing things on first the beta then RCs while still and XP/Vista dual boot on at the time until finally dumping both of the two previous versions entirely!
