I just starting using the latest Beta 8 from Stardock. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with Window Blinds. For $9.95 it seems like a god deal What say You?

WindowBlinds back in the XP, Vista, and Win 7 days wasn't to bad of a program if you were looking to change your desktop. In fact for a while it was about the best out there, albeit in todays world there are a great many UI changing styles that are free. Because of the large amount of free UI styles programs like WindowBlinds, WindowBlinds has slowly dropped off (why pay when the same, and in some cases there better UI styles available free).

If you are looking to change the Desktop UI just go to "Google" and type in: "Windows 8 Desktop UI styles," you will be directed to a great many styles to choose from (again free).

At present I have four to choose from in my "Personalize" section (XP, Vista, Win 7, and OS X 10.8.3 Mountain Lion). At this time I am using the OS X Mountain Lion.

Again WindowBlinds is a good program just remember there are more out there. . .

I, too, have been a long-time user of Stardock products. I currently use Start8 and ModernMix on Win8 and like them both.

I also used other theming products on an old laptop and found the alternatives to work well, too.

As to whether or not it's a good deal, that's a personal choice. I installed Windowblinds Win8 beta when it first came out and have been pleased that they've been updating it regularly ever since. To me, it's a worthwhile investment.
