Windows detected my surround sound system just fine and I hear a noise from each speaker when I click the test button, but in WMP or another player it only plays from the two front speakers. I thought this was solved but apparently it's not. Any idea how I can fix it?

It's onboard surround sound on my ASUS P5Q SE PLUS mobo.

Yup the same thing with me. Downloaded and installing the latest Realtek drivers. That would fix it mostly.
