Solved Windows doesn't show fonts

Hello!

I have run all of the updates on my Windows 7 PC and after that was done, the computer restarted as expected but than when I booted to the desktop it had a few problems.

I saw all the icons however there was no title under them. If I opened a windows or the start menu it wouldn't show at first, after some time it managed to show up and they were very buggy looking. I couldn't move them, if I clicked on them they had these glitchy effects with random scroll bars and buttons inside of the window. Even, if I wait a lot the fonts won't load in and the glitchy effects keep happening.

I wanted to do a system restore, so I went to safe mode, but the safe mode had this issue as well. Ok, I thought I could log in to the safemode with cmd. The cmd looked ok, however as I have opened up the system restore application, the window of it was buggy as well!

Hello WzX, Welcome to 7 forums. This is something you can try to restore default icons.

Right click anywhere on a blank space on the desktop and click personalize

On the left click change desktop icons

Click restore default

click ok
