R click on the start button, and choosing 'Windows Explorer' takes me to a library window only. How can I access the Explorer that I used to see in XP which showed me the folder structure in my computer?
Could I somehow access that screen by some other route and put an icon on the Desktop to lead me to it?

Hello guybc

When you get to the library window you should see the drive letters on the left side, click on one of them and you should see the un-hidden folders for that drive letter.

TJG :)

Hello Guybc,

If you like you could use the tutorial below to change the default location that the Windows Explorer shortcut or the pinned Windows Explorer icon on the taskbar to open to the "Computer" window instead of Libraries.

In addition, you could use the tutorial below to create a "Computer" shortcut to use where you like for easy use.

Thanks, TJG. For some reason I don't have any info. on the left of the window, just the libraries. I notice that friends with W7 do have that feature.

Thanks, Brink, for yet more help.
I think what I was trying to achieve was the old structure of Explorer, which is not available in WIn 7.

Guybc,

The links I posted above changes it so that it is like that in Windows 7.
