Windows Explorer has stopped working.

Everytime I wanted to open my folder and files, this thing appear on my screen. Then, it refreshed everything and the folder that I opened is gone. So, i have to open that folder again and still this windows appear again. It's hard for me to open a folder because of this. I have tried the ways in the internet and it's not working at all. Anyone can help me?

Try refreshing Windows Explorer. To do this, open Task Manager and highlight explorer.exe (do not confuse it with iexplore.exe.) Then click on the End Process button. Everything on your desktop will disappear. This is normal. Still in Task Manager, Click on File > New Task (Run...) > type in explorer.exe > OK. Within a few seconds all of your desktop icons will reappear and Windows Explorer will be refreshed.

If this problem continues you might want to check for damaged or corrupt system files. Run a system file checker scan from an elevated command prompt (option two.) If problems are found, run the scan 3 times and reboot the computer after each scan.
