Check online for a solution and restart the program or Restart the program are the only options available. However, I can continue, just have the screen splash up several times while working and have to close the error box. This error has only been in the past couple of days and I have not installed any new programs or extensions that I can remember. When it first happened I supposed it might be RocketDock, however that did not change when I discontinued and rebooted.

This fault does not involve a BSOD nor stop the process you are involved in (has happened with both firebox 3.6, IE8, as well as with Painter 11, Microsoft Spider game). In all instances I have not been using Windows Explorer. I did a search for the dll involved with no success for one since Windows 7 came out.

Here's the dump:

I'm using dual-boot, Win7 64-bit Home Premium and Windows XP SP3, both with all updates applied. My av is Avast and updated. Dell Inspiron 1545 with 2.10gHz dual-core pentium and 4gb ram.

None of the searches here have netted an answer...sure hope someone can help though.

Cheers, LafnSu

You can create a DMP file from a hung process. If you can launch task manager, right click the offending process and create Dmp file.

Then just upload it to us.

Thanks for the instructions regarding dmp file. I have it for future reference. I did find that Rocket Dock is not for 64-bit, so that's probably the issue. I will install that and make sure, but appreciate the guidance.
