Windows Explorer high cpu usage problem!!

I love windows 7 new innovative features but I am thinking to switch back to Windows XP as I am so tired of explorer.exe 100% cpu usage problem and I can't browse my files on my hard drive because whenever I do, my Pc gets unresponsive and task manager shows 100 cpu usage by explorer.exe!! Yesterday I ran system diagnostic report and it showed following errors:

1.The device, Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter, cannot start properly. It may not have the correct driver installed or may be experiencing a hardware failure. The Plug and Play ID for this device is 13.

2.The device, Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter, cannot start properly. It may not have the correct driver installed or may be experiencing a hardware failure. The Plug and Play ID for this device is ROOT\*TEREDO\0000.

Therefore I uninstalled Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter in device manager thinking that PC will install it by itself but now i can't see it device manager and the GOOD NEWS is that I am still experiencing Windows Explorer high CPU Usage Problem!! LOL This is my last attempt to solve it or I will switch back to XP!!

Run Process Monitor and see what your explorer is upto.

I would never go back to XP. That would be like going back to dial up.

It's most likely a memory leak in a software program you have installed. This happened to me once when PalTalk froze on me and sent one of my cores to 100% even after i exited the program. Luckily, my gadgets let me see what was going on. A reboot fixed the problem.

Switching back to the 10+ year old, less secure XP would be a mistake. Your problem is not with Win7, but with something not playing well with Win7. I agree with Bill2 - you need to see what is causing the extra demands.

I am not a God given expert,but may I ask you few questions?
Is this happening right from the beginning,or after a using your win7 for a while?
If this is happenning after a while,actually after installing some kind of cracked software maybe?
And third question would be do you using any kind of VPN programs?
If this is happening right from the beginning,maybe you should try different edition of win7,and look for it somewhere else,in some other "store" then you "bought" this one.
Probably you have already scanned your PC,and you know that sometimes infected files can cause explorer.exe jumps to 100% even just if they are not compressed any more(like I used to have a problem for example),but it's worth to ask.
One more program which which is at some particular cases(and nobody knows why it is happening just in some rare cases) known as a readon explorer.exe goes 100% is Power Archiver,so maybe you should give a try there if you have it in your system.

Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter is the IPv6 interface. Just disable IPv6 since you don't use it anyways.

Network and Sharing Center -> Local Area Connection -> (new window) Properties -> (new window) uncheck IPv6.
