Windows Explorer in windows 7 will not show item info in status bar

I read the past help with the exe files but when I click an item in Win 7 64 bit it only shows 1 Item Selected and will not show any item info like I had on my last install any ideas?

I don't understand what you mean. Can you explain more please? What item info are you talking about? What did it contain?
