Windows Explorer Opening Question

I use Windows Explorer quite a bit. I would like to open it to display the directories on C: in the left pane and also on the right pane.

In XP I used %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\ to do this. In Win 7 it list the directories only in the right pane.

I tried: %windir%\explorer.exe /e c:\ and had the same result as above.

Any way to expand a directory in the left pane?
