Hello,
I run Windows 7 and am presently having trouble with Windows Explorer crashing. A message comes up stating that Windows Exployer has stopped working. If anyone is able to shed some light on why this is happening and suggest a course of action to rectify this, I would be grateful.

I've attached a zip file containing all of my dump files.

Thank you.

Aaron

Hello,

Please start by installing SP1: Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

I suspect the 7F bugcheck was caused by a bug in Windows that was addressed in that service pack. However, it did point to your ATI drivers, which are in need of an update:
Code:
atikmdag.sys Mon Oct 19 22:42:25 2009 (4ADD2391)
Install the Driver Only here: ATI Radeon

As for the other BSODs, they pointed to a hardware issue. I'd recommend some hardware diagnostics, starting with the three Prime95 tests: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-cpu-stress-test-prime95.html

Also run Memtest86: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

I'll just mention there are a few drivers that can be updated. 95% they are not the cause, but after all, driver updates rarely hurt anything.
Code:
jraid.sys    Wed May 27 01:39:24 2009 (4A1CD20C) - JMicron SATA controller driver
[URL]ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/SATA_Controller/Windows/[/URL]

Rt86win7.sys Thu Nov 05 09:14:57 2009 (4AF2DDE1) - Realtek ethernet driver
[url=http://218.210.127.131/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false]Realtek[/url]
If you get any more BSODs, please upload a full jcgriff2 report; there is much more info in one of those than the dumps alone. See here: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html
