My computer freezes about once a way, and usually when I'm watching YouTube videos.

Here's what happens:
1. Watching YouTube, suddenly whole screen freeze (like the explorer.exe froze), cannot press anything with mouse, the video is still playing in Chrome.

2. However, I can still alt tab to switch between tabs and other applications working.

3. If I ctrl+alt+delete, screen blacks out, and mouse becomes the loading icon, and I cannot do anything to get my screen back.

4. I have to press the power button, when I do that the monitor stops receiving signals from the computer instantly. But even after that, I can still hear the YouTube video playing.

5. Then I have no other options other than force shutdown.

Fun fact, when it freezes I can still use windows key + tab to look at other tabs, but if I switch to that tab then that application freezes after like 5~ sec too.

It seems like after step 5, all my applications is still working normally in the background but I cannot do anything but force shutdown.

And I can use my keyboard's media play key to turn music on/off after it freezes.

Can someone please help? This problem is starting to get annoying.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums kori84527486!

Have you tried running a sfc/scannow to check for and possibly repair any corrupted system files? We have many very fine tutorials here written by some very knowledgeable people, heres a link on how to do that.

Also, have you tried a system restore to a point before this started? (Always start with the easy/simple things :))

is this also happening in other browsers like ie or firefox? it may just be the flash player that needs fixing or an update.
