I recently installed a new motherboard onto my PC. It works fine until when it says "Welcome to Windows", it comes up with a blue screen for like two seconds then automatically restarts the computer. Once it restarts it gives the option to repair, when I do that it repairs and just automatically restarts as well.

I've tried putting a Windows disc into the computer, started on it and tried the repair option, but it says the disc differs from the Windows version. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, two years ago on my old ASUS with Windows 7 Professional I had this issue just a bit different, it was an infinite boot but the thing that differs from your issue is that it would start up to show the ASUS logo. Then after it gave me the option for the Bios it restarted to just to it over. In the end I had to completely wipe my Windows 7 off using a External Seagate hard drive and re install it then it worked fine.
