Solved How to fix/reformat a 1TB Passport drive that is causing a crash?

I have a 1TB passport drive that is causing my computer to crash (blue screen).
Other passport drives work ok.

How do I fix/reformat the drive?

Fist run a disk check.
Open a CMD window and type:
chkdsk X: /f (replace X: by the drive letter shown on Explorer)
If it finds bad blocks or bad clusters, your disk is dying and should be replaced.

To format, right click on the drive letter and choose Format.

Any HDD is very sensitive to movements and impacts, so my advice is, while running, don't touch / move it.
