Windows Live installation issue

I've downloaded the Windows Live installer both as an exe and by the windows updater. When it installs i get the "unknown error" of

OnCatalogResult: 0x80072ee6

i've been on the windows website but it is not helpful at all. any help is appreciated.

Have you tried unistalling Windows Live from Programs and Features, reboot, download it again, right click on it and unblock it from properties and tried again?
