:D Hi, new to this forum.
Windows live mail in windows 7 home preminum 64 bit has left the option of creating a new contact group from its drop down list. Here is what I have done to correct problem. Going to c:\users\uername\contacts and than right clicking on blank white space and selecting customize folder\customize and clicking drop down arrow. On the drop down list there is no "contacts" option. This procedure came from a several forums that I have visited. So the next step I did was to make sure that windows live mail was my default, and it was. I than tried and made windows contact my default. The results did not help. Been working on this off and on for four days. Sure could use some help.
thank you

Yes ...........I can put a catagory here and name it what I want to. And than set up a group. But the problem as I explained is that under windows live mail (windows live contacts) there should already be an option called "new contact group" and it is not there. That is what Im trying to set up. I thank you very much for your reply.

The "group" in Windows Mail is called "Category" in Windows Live Mail.
WLMail has no "group", just "Category".
